Start a game
- The host opens Ludix, creates a game and picks Estimates; players scan the QR code.
- A question with a numeric answer appears on every phone: everyone types a number before time runs out, and can change it until then.
- The right answer is revealed with a short explanation, everyone’s guesses on a scale and the points for the round.
What you can do
- 3 points for the closest guess (each of them if tied), 1 point for anyone within the margin (10% by default, or 5 or 20%), and a 2-point bonus for an exact answer.
- Higher or lower variant: a value appears and everyone says whether the right answer is above or below it; 2 points per right call.
- Choose the time to answer (30 seconds by default) and the number of rounds (8 by default, up to 20).
- Eight free themes: general knowledge, geography, history, science and nature, sports, arts and games, everyday life, curious numbers.
- Guesses stay secret until the reveal, and everyone reads the question in their own language: English, French or Spanish.
- Optional TV screen: the question and the reveal shown big, then the podium.
Great for
- Nights with friends, to settle who was “sure it was more”.
- Family dinners: no need to know everything, just aim close.
- Team building, in the room or remote.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need to know the exact answer?
No: the closest guess scores, even if it is way off. Landing within the margin earns a point too, and an exact answer gets a bonus.
How many people can play?
From 2 to 30 players, host included. A player without a phone can join in: the host enters their guess for them.
Where do the numbers come from?
They are verifiable, stable figures: records, official measurements, historical facts. A figure that may change is dated in the question, and a short explanation or the source appears at the reveal.
Are the questions free?
Yes, all eight themes are free, from general knowledge to curious numbers.
