French Tarot score calculator
No more mental arithmetic after every deal: enter the taker, the contract, their oudlers and points, and Ludix works out everyone’s score using the rules of the French Tarot Federation (FFT). The totals update deal after deal.

How it works
- Open Ludix and choose French Tarot on the home screen.
- Add 3, 4 or 5 players in seating order, then choose 5, 10, 15 or 20 deals, or an open-ended game.
- After each deal, tap “Enter the deal”: taker, contract, oudlers, points won and, if needed, petit au bout, handful or slam. Confirm, and everyone’s points are added.
What you can do
- Points needed by the taker’s oudlers: 56 with none, 51 with one, 41 with two, 36 with all three.
- Petite (×1), Garde (×2), Garde sans (×4) and Garde contre (×6), scored as (25 + margin) × contract.
- Petit au bout (10 × contract, for attack or defence), single, double or triple handful (20, 30 or 40) and announced, unannounced or failed slam (+400, +200 or -200).
- With 5 players, the called player scores with the taker, who can also play alone; every deal always adds up to zero.
- Points entered to the half point, counted by the taker or by the defence, with everyone’s score shown before you confirm.
- Dealer that moves round each deal, passed deals when everyone passes, and any deal already entered can be corrected or deleted.
- Final ranking you can share as an image, and the game added to your game log automatically.
Great for
- A Sunday game of French Tarot with 4 or 5 players.
- A game night where the score has to be right to the last point.
- New players learning Tarot who do not know the scoring by heart yet.
Frequently asked questions
How is a deal scored?
With the FFT rules: 25 points, plus the margin between the points won and the points needed, plus petit au bout, all multiplied by the contract, then the handful and the slam. With 4 players, the taker scores three times that value and each defender loses it. A half-point margin is rounded in favour of the side that wins the deal.
How does the 5-player game work?
The taker calls a king: the called player scores the deal value once, the taker twice, and each of the three defenders loses it. If the king is in the dog or the taker called themselves, choose “Alone”: the taker then scores four times.
Can I fix a deal?
Yes: tap the deal’s row in the table to correct or delete it, with “Undo” right after. The game is saved on your device and picks up where you left off.
Do I need to install an app?
No, everything runs in the browser, on phones and tablets, with no account. You can also add Ludix to your home screen, and once opened, the tool keeps working offline.
